The 2nd factor is wear & useage taken from the saddle, so if the saddle was used considerably within a year, then we pro rate the warranty on the condition and wear. Some saddles get a lifetime of use within a year, in that case we decide how much its worth & will be adjusted accordingly, a new item may be offered at only 40% of original value for example in the first year. Or a saddle that was barely used in its 7th year of warranty may still have a lot of life left in it, so we will consider 80% of the value towards another, these are just examples.
