What to compare in a roping saddle
Read the individual model’s tree, horn, gullet, rigging and weight specifications. Do not assume that every Western saddle is intended for the same roping use. Confirm the model’s intended application with JC Martin if you plan to rope or dally. Consider both your riding position and your horse’s fit when choosing a seat and tree option.

Tree & Gullet Options — Specify in Checkout Notes
Any saddle can be ordered with Semi or Full QH bars and a 6½-inch or 7.0-inch gullet. A 7½-inch or 8-inch gullet is available with a wooden tree only. Any composite tree may be substituted with a rawhide-bound wooden tree.
